古くから伝わるイギリスの地方菓子。カタンはキャサリンの古い呼び名で、聖キャサリンの伝説に登場する車輪（聖カタリナの車輪/キャサリンホイール）の形をしたイギリスでも珍しいお菓子です。スパイスとキャラウェイが香るスコーンに似た生地を渦巻き状にして、外はサクサク中はしっとりに焼き上がります。自分で作ったお菓子をお持ち帰りいただけます。このレッスンは6名までです。

A traditional British regional sweet that is now very rare. They are shaped like the wheel that appears in the legend of Saint Catherine - Cattern being an old name for Catherine. The scone-like dough, fragrant with spices and caraway, is rolled to make a spiral shape and baked until crispy on the outside and moist in the middle. This lesson is for up to 6 people and you'll take home the cakes that you make in class.
